A Mattress in a Box May Be Worth Considering
What does mattress in a box really mean? Well, it just means what it sounds like – a mattress that’s been compressed into a small box. However, this doesn’t mean that it’s any less good. In fact, it may be better, because it has the ability to provide more support to your body as you sleep. However, you probably already have lots of other questions, such as “Is a mattress in a box good?”
There are two major types of mattress in a box springs, and both are equally useful. First of all, there’s the traditional foam mattress pad that’s often included with new mattresses. In many cases, these pads can actually work quite well, providing enough support to make a mattress in a box spring worth it. Unfortunately, many people also find that the uncomfortable feel of foam is too much to handle, and they want a different feel – some say that a traditional box spring just isn’t right for them.
Alternatively, you may need to consider a plastic covering or mattress in a box product. These plastic covers can work quite well if you don’t mind paying a bit more for them. They provide just as much support as foam pads do, although the plastic covering doesn’t have nearly the same fraying effect that foam pads can sometimes exhibit. Still, you will probably need to take the time to care for the plastic covering, so that it stays in good shape over the long run.
